Chords Major and Minor


What are chords? chord is harmonic of three set note or more and played together as if played simultaneously. If you want to play music, you should know your chords.
Here are the three set or more for Major chord and Minor chord
Major Chord  : 1  3    5
Minor Chord  : 1  3b  5

here is an example,
let's say you want to play C major chord, so we know that the root or the first note are C, and then :
1   3   5
C  E  G
And that is the C major chord, C major chord are consist of C, E, G notes.

This are C chord open string, as you can see the chord consist of C E and G

let's see another example,
D Minor chord
1   3b   5
D   F    A
D minor chord are consist of D F and A, (oh yeah 3b mean are flat, or half step back, so if 3 in D is F# then 3b is F)

so D minor chord are D F A, and the X's mean they are muted

Now you know how chords are shaped, and now you can even make your own chord, get creative! and make your own unique sound.
